  • As the founding principal of the firm, Ed entered the financial services industry in March 2000 with a desire to help people take control of their financial lives. Over the years, Ed’s clients have become like family, and he views his ability to serve them as an honor and privilege.

    Ed obtained his undergraduate degree in Marketing from Texas Tech University in 1988. He has served on the District Appraisal Board and was a city councilman for six years. Ed specializes in retirement strategies, family dynamics, Social Security, and pension strategies.

  • When out of the office, you can find Ed spending time with his family, playing softball, golf, or watching any and all sports. He has served as a deacon at his local church for 30 years and lives his life for God, family, and friends.

  • Kinsey began working with Ameriprise in 2017. Growing up on a farm in central Texas, she was exposed to the oil and gas, agriculture, and ranching industries. Along with time spent as a landman and work on various ranching boards, Kinsey’s background helps her serve our ag clients with their unique problems and benefits. Within the firm, Kinsey uses her passion for problem solving to lead our financial planning department.

    In 2005, Kinsey obtained her undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University. She received her Masters in Educational Leadership in Technology from Lamar University in 2012. Before joining the team, she spent eight years teaching English, and ten years working on the ranch.

  • Kinsey and her husband, Dillon, raise their 2 boys, Bridger and Parker, on a ranch outside of Canadian. In her free time, Kinsey is either chasing kids to ball games, working with Dillon, or serving at church. She is an avid reader, listener of podcasts, and loves to learn new skills.

  • Brock joined our team in April 2023. He has spent his career in the financial planning industry, save a year of studying Spanish in Madrid, Spain. Brock has worked for multiple independent financial planning firms in Houston, TX as well as with Ameriprise in Albuquerque, NM.

    He received his undergraduate degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University in 2017. In 2019 he completed the requirements to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, as well as a National Social Security Advisor Certificate holder. Brock has a passion for the investment side of financial planning and helps the firm develop and implement investment strategies that best align with our clients’ goals.

  • In his free time, you can find Brock somewhere in the mountains, snowboarding, rock climbing, or running. He enjoys coffee, good books, and time well spent with friends.

  • Lorena joined the team in 2022 bringing experience from the banking and property/casualty insurance worlds. She uses her organizational skills to oversee the day to day operations of the firm.

    In 2020, she obtained her Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from West Texas A&M University. Throughout her time at WTAMU, she worked for Happy State Bank as a commercial teller & operations specialist. In 2020, she obtained her property & casualty insurance license and worked as an agent in personal lines insurance for two years.

  • In her free time, Lorena enjoys being outdoors, attending concerts, working out at the gym, and spending time with her family.

    • Assets Under Management: $0 - $1,000,000

      • Annual Fee: 1.25% annual fee

    • Assets Under Management: $1,000,001 - $4,000,000

      • Annual Fee: 1.00%

    • Assets Under Management: $4,000,000+

      • Annual Fee: 0.90%

  • Yes. We partner with clients who are ready for comprehensive, long-term planning. While every situation is unique, most of our clients have $750,000+ in investable assets or are actively building toward that level.
